Appreciations

"We bow down at the feet of our glorious teacher, Sri Dharma Mittra, by who's inner light and realization come all grace and peace. You tirelessly guide all beings toward truth, and defend against the darkness. Please, Sri Dharma Mittra, embodiment of great bliss, incarnation of the teachings: Stay in this world as long as there are beings that need and call on you. In your presence all things are light. Nothing is hidden. Do not abandon us, but deliver us from the clinging of our ego and attachment. Purify our bodies and our minds that we might serve you. Let us be vessels, inspire us with your own breath that our yoga and our meditations and our lives become continuous acts of prayer. The gods and the goddesses, may they always bless and support you. May your life be long and your health strong. All sentient creatures bow down before you: may they never cease. Master of siddhis and king of all yogas, we pray to you. Grant us the blessings to recognize our true nature. Grant us the blessings to act with compassion toward all beings everywhere. Let us be mirrors, reflecting your divine image. This is our fervent prayer." Rob P.

"I love being in the temple where I copy Dharma's way--calm, quiet, peaceful. Dharma is always patient with my questions and my excitement for the many things I am learning daily about Self Realization. I don't want to take up too much energy, and being quiet is the best way, but sometimes I just have to share what I've learned because it's a wonderful experience to share and keeps hope alive in me. I'm happy to be in an environment where I can constantly learn about yoga, meditation, and the teachings of the great Gurus--Dharma and Gupta." Stefanie S.

"Dharma has ignited the full flames of yoga in me and my like-minded soul mate, which eventually led to our vision quest trip around the world. We had planned to visit Mother India for deeper and longer study of the amazing teachings of yoga, but found it to be a huge disappointment in comparison to what we learned from Dharma. Dharma truly is the most thorough and inspirational teacher we've ever had the privilege of learning from! Not only does he truly practice the union of ALL 3 components of mind, body, and spirit, but he is THE ONLY ONE we've met who practices and teaches the full 8 limbs of ashtanga yoga, as divined by the original yogic scriptures, which skyrocket one's spiritual evolution to their fullest flowering! We wish to communicate how rare of a jewel Dharma is in this sorted world! We love you, our spiritual family, forever!" Tiffany & Darius Rustum

"The Dharma Mittra Yoga was my first encounter with yoga and it really shaped my practice and understanding of yoga as a way of life. I can honestly say that the sanctuary of yoga saved my life. Eternal thanks to Eva and Dharma for guiding with open hearts and keeping the path lit! I live in California for the time being, but I still continue to carry the wisdom and disciplines that were shared with me in New York. I miss the sanctuary of the center so much! I wish I could be there and be in Dharma and Eva's presence. They truly are a healing union that brings peace to so many. To all you lucky souls in New York who get to experience the magic of the center: embrace! embrace! embrace! I miss you! I can't wait to be with you again."

"Dharma, I've just began to understand what you have been saying all these years " 'there is no doer.' "

"Thanks so much for everything throughout the teacher training, and the very lovely graduation ceremony. I had a fantastic time, and it was a perfect end to a marvelous training that changed just about everything about me. I have so, so, so much to be grateful for this year!" Kati

"We are doing wonderfully, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It's been an amazing year and we are so grateful. The journey of Dharma's training was a significant part of this magical year." Dawn & Lux

"Dear Dharma Mittra, Thank you so much for coming to Virginia Beach this past weekend. I was so truly moved by you. I was amazed how overcome with emotion I was after each class. You gave me a lot to think about. I feel that my mind has been opened to new and wonderful possibilities. I feel a great peace. Thank you for blessing me with your teachings." Kim

"Dharma, I thank you so much for your offerings. The 12pm class is smoking! I love the energy, the fun and I always leave feeling centered, peaceful, spiritually reconnected and grounded." Tamara

"I just wanted to drop you a note to say how inspiring and truly amazing this past weekend was for me at the Dharma Yoga Center. I attended both the Saturday night celebration and the Sunday chalisa kirtan with Krishna Das, and both were truly inspirational. This was my first attendance at one of your programs but it will certainly not be the last. Om Shanti." H. Katz

"Thanks for so much hard work on New Year's weekend, bringing so much light to the rest of us; and for bringing so much peace, love, dedication, humility and grace to the world." M. Ruiz

"Dear Dharma Yoga Center, I just want to say what a joy it was for me to come and meet you all. A saint once said it is so much easier to see the Self shining in good people, and that was my experience with all of you. You are all wonderful seekers of the Self, and I felt as comfortable being around you as if we had known each other for eons. I will miss terribly seeing you. I also wanted to say that you are blessed and extremely fortunate to have Dharma. There are billions of people on this planet, but very, very, very few are as special as him. There are a few enlightened beings to help guide the rest of us looking for enlightenment and Dharma is definitely one. You may not realize how special he is, but I could feel it. He transmits such love and power that you cannot always tell it is touching you. It is so subtle. He gives without you knowing. All my best and lots of love always." Tom Siegel

"The Dharma Yoga flow is the truth to follow in this world. I want to move back to NYC just to be in your classes. Maybe some day. I’m waiting on my husband. Thank you Dharma and Eva, the two most wonderful souls, for all that you do. My life has changed forever." Siddhi Om
