Sri Dharma at the Home Center

"Special thanks to my teacher Sri Dharma Mittra. Thank you Dharma for all that you are. You're the beacon that never stops shining, touching everyone in your path. You are the living example that we can remain pure and innocent. Your constant repetition and positive reinforcement of how life can be enjoyed continues to bring us back to what really matters in this world and beyond. Your kindness and consideration to all living things, your compassion, diet and physical wonder cast your character. You have shown us to look past the moment to get to the next. You are the inventor, with your encouraging humble attitude you continue to spark others to do the same. Thank you for all that you are Dharma, for your selfless life, for the fruits you have given, for all you continue to give and for all that you continue to inspire. Thank you for helping us to develop on every level. You are truly a wonderful person and teacher." Tony Urbano

About The Center

The Kailashananda Temple

The Kailashananda Temple at Dharma Yoga Center was dedicated in 1974 to Swami Kailashananda. Our sanctuary evokes the presence of the great saints and sages of our era, who have given us much inspiration and a path to follow in. We have been an oasis for peace in the middle this bustling city for the past 34 years. The Center is bright, spacious and airy, with two large skylights and air conditioning. We wish for everyone to feel comfortable in a personal, unstressful, family-like environment. Come a few minutes early to stretch out and relax before class. The center is available for workshops, kirtans, and other programs at very reasonable rates. Our yoga shop is open around the class times for your convenience.

Our center is in the Gramercy Park area ideally located in Manhattan, within walking distance of the East Village, West Village, Lower East Side, Chinatown, Midtown, Chelsea, Times Square and Union Square. Enjoy a short stroll to Gramercy Park, Madison Square Park, and Tompkins Square Park. There are many superior health food stores and vegetarian/raw restaurants in our neighborhood. Hotels to suit every budget are nearby, as well as, major shopping destinations such as Macy's and Bloomingdales.

Opportunities
We are always looking for qualified candidates to help us run our day to day operations at the center. We have internship positions available. Do you have administrative experience, computer skills, or a creative design background? If so, and you're interested in hopping aboard to move the work of Sri Dharma Mittra into the future, we would love to hear from you. Please email us your resume or give us a call at 212-889-8160 or 212-253-1289. Om Shanti.
