Book a class

Jonathan Rosenthal

  • Student since 2011, staff since 2013
  • Background in neuroscience and medicine
  • “Humerus”, while still dedicated to serious practice
  • Personal statement: I first started reading about yoga and The Bhagavad Gita when I was 14 years old. These works struck a chord deep within me, but I was too intimidated to take a yoga class. After practicing at home for years, I took my first class in 2010, and quickly found my way to the DYC, the only place I have regularly practiced at since. I completed my 200hr teacher training in 2013, and devote time at the center weekly. I endeavor to live the life of a yogi, as exemplified by Sri Dharma Mittra, and I hope to spread the knowledge to those who need it most.
